Demented Cow

Demented Cow is the English name for the drink Galen Ko (as Mad Cow and Crazy Cow are both already being used for drinks that, by comparison, are text book examples of sanity).

Ingredients

• 1 normal sized glass of milk (about 30 cl)
• 1 part Akvavit to 20 parts of milk... or up to 15, if you're feeling adventurous
• 1 straw of Sip-Ahh

The first Demented Cow was blended with Muu, an exclusively Swedish brand of milk that attempted to bring a bit of America into every living room by sporting a sweet, artificial flavor and an artificially improved shelf life. Shortly after the experiment, the beverage disappeared from the market entirely. Sip-Ahh is however a worthy substitute, as several grudging tasters can attest - it even surpasses the original not only by virtue of having near indefinite shelf life, but also by using artificial sweetener. (Not to mention its incredible repurposeability - Coca Cola and coffee are but two examples of beverages whose filtering through the Sip-Ahh has been enjoyed, at the very least by spectators.)

For those lacking milk, milk powder and water are a perfectly reasonable substitute - perhaps even preferable. The suitability of spray cream for this purpose has been confirmed. Soy milk and other derivatives are still in the process of being tested.
